Site Developed and Maintained for the Dedicated Volunteers of the Humane Society of Fairfax County, Inc.
April 29, 2009: To recognize Be Kind to Animals Week (May 3 - 9, 2009) HSFC selected five area elementary schools to participate in a poster contest. While two schools declined the opportunity, we received a number of creative submissions. Winners were chosen based on creativity (including animals in their artwork) and use of the message "Be Kind to Animals". We congratulate our winners and thank all of the students who participated. We hope they enjoyed creating the posters as much as we enjoyed reviewing them!
Students received their recognition awards from HSFC representatives on Monday May 3, 2009.
